Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' ten-match victorious run was ended by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, however will the Premier League leaders recover against north London rivals Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of guests.
For the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
The singer's new record, Knees Up, is available on the weekend.
Football and Parenting Experiences
Olly is a talented soccer player as well as a successful artist and has been a star of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not planning a serious return as a player.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or son chooses to play instead."
Murs and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their coach.
"I won't push football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be managing their Saturday football side," he said.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a while too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our team for two or three years and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from fitness issues but their offense is already more potent with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be quite tight, though. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third league win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
Olly's pick: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have lost their past two games - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they appear competitive again.
The Hammers' only on the road victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously Forest coach.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - can the Hammers extending their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
The guest's outlook: The home team are doing well but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the season started, but they have impressed a several people under their manager and are in good form with three in their past four games.
A family member advised me to get Brentford striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great success on the road this term, and Brighton are consistently decent at home. The visitors will try to hit them on the break but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a danger.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
Olly's view: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many goals but it in reality proves to be rather tight. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six matches.
Fulham have have lots of quality in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle.
As for the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not seen any other team rough up the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the close of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive results because they evidently enjoy to prove me wrong.
Considering Fulham's home record, the only side they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's team will be extremely eager for a positive result, so I am going to say they will secure three points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
Olly's choice: I'm aware the visitors are doing well and also that the hosts are on a bad streak... but they have nonetheless been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but might they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
